| Here at Flatwater Software, we write software. It's our mission. It's what we do. It's all we do. Only, we can't. Apparently, in order to write software you need "hardware." It doesn't really make sense. We don't have any. Hardware, that is. We checked everywhere, even in the barn. Fortunately, it's only a few miles to town. We cleaned out the back of the pickup, and drove to Ron's Hav-All Hardware. We told Ron what we needed. There was some kind of communication problem. Heated words were exchanged. There will probably be tension at the potluck on Sunday. It appears we're going to have to make our own hardware from scratch. It shouldn't be too difficult, right? We should probably start with a keyboard. |
